Aaron E. Kornblum, Senior Attorney, leads Microsoft's enforcement programs against spam, phishing, and cybersquatting. Aaron leads a dedicated team of investigators, paralegals, and outside counsel, and works closely with industry and corporate partners as well as government enforcement agencies to protect consumers from unwanted spam and to stop online fraud.
Prior to joining Microsoft, Aaron served on active duty as an Air Force JAG Corps trial prosecutor and defense counsel in numerous courts-martial cases and administrative actions. Aaron handled cases at stateside, overseas, and forward operating bases, and also was appointed a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in the District of Wyoming to prosecute civilian offenders. Following his military service, Aaron entered private practice focusing on complex civil litigation and bankruptcy until joining Microsoft.
Aaron graduated from Princeton University, and earned his J.D. at the University of Wisconsin School of Law.
