    I have been very surprised by some of the stats. For example I thought almost everyone was cloaking or at least using redirects for their affiliate links. According to this report 59% of the surveyed affiliates do NOT do it.

    I am also surprised that only half of the surveyed affiliates take the time to read the affiliate agreement before promoting a product. This could result in being banned from the network altogether, even without doing shady stuffs – as an example some (many) affiliate programs do not allow that you use variations of their product names for your domain name – however this practice is very common among the affiliates (especially those chasing out EMDs)…
