1. Affiliate Meet Market is Sold Out

It’s official, as of yesterday, January 15, 2008, all of the Affiliate Meet Market tables are sold out for Affiliate Summit 2008 West, taking place February 24-26, 2008 in Las Vegas.

The Affiliate Meet Market, a trade fair, showcasing 70+ exhibitors on Sunday, the first day of Affiliate Summit.

This 6-hour exhibition is “the event” on Sunday and has historically been well-attended.

Missy is trying to clear additional space to place additional tabletop locations, so if you are interested in putting your name on a waitlist for a table, please email us at realdeal@affiliatesummit.com as soon as possible.

2. Register for the Great Affiliate Road Rally

The Great Affiliate Road Rally, taking place Tuesday, February 26, 2008 from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, is a remote control car race open to all attendees at Affiliate Summit 2008 West.

The driver of the first car to cross the finish line for the Great Affiliate Road Rally will be awarded a 10' x 10' exhibit hall booth (value: $4,995) for Affiliate Summit 2008 East in Boston, taking place August 10-12, 2008.

And yes, the booth is transferable, so the winner can sell it at whatever cost they wish.

The entry fee is $100, which is a donation made directly to the Starlight Starbright Children’s Foundation.

3. Affiliate Summit on Twitter

I was just chatting with Stephanie Agresta about Affiliate Summit providing updates via Twitter during the conference.

I told her we did it in the past, and I thought we had twitter.com/affiliatesummit. Turns out we didn’t have it. I guess I did it from my own Twitter account.

So I just set up the Affiliate Summit account on Twitter and we’ll be posting updates during Affiliate Summit 2008 West on that account.

6. WeViews.tv is Seeking Consumer Reporters

WeViews.tv is seeking Consumer Reporters to create and submit their own video reviews of products or services they have used and recommend.

We will pay $10.00 for each submission that is accepted and published on the WeViews.tv website.
