Tim Carter is author of the nationally-syndicated newspaper column Ask the Builder and the founder of AsktheBuilder.com. The column and website cover residential home building , remodeling and repair topics. Prior to this current publishing occupation, Carter was a full-time custom-home builder and remodeling contractor. He also actively tapes videos that appear on AsktheBuilder.com.
Carter's syndicated column runs in over 100 papers nationwide each week. His AsktheBuilder.com website receives about 245,000 unique visitors per week as well.
Carter was named Hotshot of the Year in 2004 by the International Society of Internet Entrepreneurs. At the ContentBiz Content Summit in New York City in April of 2005, Carter was noted as the Entrepreneur of the year. In March of 2006 while attending a conference in Washington DC, Carter was selected as the top Underground Marketer of the Year for 2006.
Carter currently resides in Cincinnati, OH, but will soon be relocating to his private 90-acre nature preserve in the center of New Hampshire's Lakes Region.
