Keeping you safe at Affiliate Summit West

Last updated: October 28, 2021

The safety and comfort of our Affiliate Summit family is our TOP PRIORITY, so we’re doing everything we can to welcome you back safely.

Health and safety guidelines have changed a LOT over the past few months, but know that we are following all guidance that is being given by the State and the CDC (plus some extra precautions!) so that we can keep you, and all of our attendees, safe.

We are committed to keeping you safe so here are the safety measures you will see at ASW21.

If you have any questions, our Customer Success team is always here to help - you can reach out to them directly at support@affliatesummit.com.

You will need to be fully vaccinated two weeks before the show or have had negative PCR or Lateral Flow test results within 72 hours of arrival to ASW

Full details on requirements listed below:

  • Full vaccination is defined as completion of the two-dose Pfizer or Moderna vaccines or one dose of Johnson & Johnson vaccine administered at least two weeks in advance of the event. Find out more about authorized and recommended vaccines here.

  • Negative Test results must have been received 72 hours of their arrival at the event and can be either a PCR or Lateral Flow test.

To make things easier (and safer) for you we’re working with CLEAR Health Pass (which you may know from helping you skip lines at airport security!) to provide all attendees a seamless way to upload proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 tests.

CLEAR Health Pass will then check and approve your vaccination or test information before the event.

Need help finding a COVID-19 testing center near ASW? You can search for the nearest one to you here.

Are there any consequences for faking your vaccine status or testing?

Vaccination record cards are intended to provide recipients of the COVID-19 vaccine with information about the type of vaccine they received, and when they may be able to receive a second dose of the vaccine. By misrepresenting yourself as vaccinated, you put yourself and others around you at risk of contracting COVID-19.

Additionally, the unauthorized use of an official government agency’s seal (such as HHS or the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)) is a crime.

And remember if you’ve tested positive or are feeling unwell or showing any symptoms before ASW then please contact our Customer Success team as soon as possible - they’re here to help you! (and so you know, we’re going to ask that you please don’t attend ASW – we know that you’ll have FOMO, but we want to keep you and all of our attendees as safe as possible).

CLEAR is a Health Pass that verifies your US vaccination card and/or links to your negative test, it contains everything you need for frictionless entry to ASW21. All attendees will be required to download and use the CLEAR HEALTH PASS. To use CLEAR Health Pass for ASW21 you’ll need to enter the event code: EFATTENDEE28

All US attendees are required to download the CLEAR HEALTH PASS and upload either a US vaccination card and/or link your US negative test results to your health care provider. Vaccination cards can be uploaded ten days before ASW21 but US negative test results need to be within 72 hours of arrival at ASW21. Please note you can only link your negative test 24 hours before arrival.

Once verified by CLEAR, you will be given an APPROVED health pass which you'll need to show us at the CLEAR Health Pass collection, which will take place before badge collection.

International vaccination cards or international negative test results are not accepted by CLEAR, so are not required to download and use CLEAR Health Pass. Instead, our team will verify your vaccination card or negative test result in person at ASW21.

For step-by-step instructions on how to use CLEAR click here.

REMEMBER: If you run into any trouble on the app, please contact them by dialing (001) 855 253 2763 for the fastest member care responses.

We want to make all of our attendees feel as comfortable as possible and as always will be following guidelines set out by the state. There is currently a mask mandate in Nevada and so all attendees at ASW21 will be required to wear a mask. You won’t be allowed into ASW without a mask and security will be checking this.

Whilst you don’t have to social distance we want to make sure that everyone feels comfortable. To help avoid the awkward “do we or don’t we” moment we’ll have a traffic light system where every attendee will be given a different colored button to indicate what they are comfortable with!

  • Green = happy to shake hands

  • Orange = happy with an elbow high five

  • Red = happy with a wave

This way you’ll know immediately the best way to greet all of your fellow ASW attendees.

There will also be a dedicated socially distanced meeting space so you can network with attendees in a safe way.

Right now, you’re probably wondering... but how the heck are they going to run the MEET MARKET during COVID-19?

You can expect:

  • Fewer tables – there are 11% less Meet Market tables than in 2020 so that there is a bit more space

  • And speaking of more space... we’ve made the aisles between tables 20% bigger!

  • Air purifiers will be placed throughout the event space

  • There will be a one-way traffic system so that attendees can move around easily

  • Limited capacity! To make sure that it doesn't get too crowded we’ll have a capacity limit for the Meet Market and will operate a one in, one out policy when we reach full capacity.

To avoid any queues at registration we’ve:

  • Increased the number of hours that registration will be open for

  • Doubled the number of registration terminals

  • Invested in a contactless registration process so that you’re not waiting around for your badge or lanyard!

We’re also working with CLEAR Health Pass to provide all attendees a seamless way to upload proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 tests, meaning that registration will be even faster (and safer!).

Just like you’re doing at home, we’re obsessed with sanitizing every surface as often as possible. To make this happen at ASW, we’re introducing a brand new superhero into the space:

Here’s what our Cleaning Heroes are doing to save the world of ASW: safety 1122

  • Regular cleaning rotations throughout the event space

  • Deep cleaning all event areas, including all high touch points areas such as registration and seating areas

  • Air purifiers will be placed throughout the event space

  • Hand sanitizer stations throughout the event

  • Speakers: all microphones and audio equipment will be disinfected between each speaker

This is just a small list of what our Cleaning Superheroes will do to make sure every area of ASW is super clean and safe. Keep checking back for new updates.

Just like you’ve seen at Starbucks or your favorite local cafe, any food served will be a COVID-19 safe way and will be ready for you to grab safely.

You will still be able to enjoy your lunch with friends and colleagues at our tables.

There is a lot going on to make sure you feel safe and comfortable attending ASW in November and we’re confident that ASW21 will be the same great event, with amazing content, actionable learnings and incredible networking (even at a distance).

Please note that a failure to follow our COVID-19 protocols (including wearing a mask), or faking a test or vaccination will result in a lifetime ban from Affiliate Summit events in addition to the Federal consequences.

If you have any questions, our Customer Success Team is always here to help - you can reach out to them directly at support@affliatesummit.com
