One of the missions of Affiliate Summit is to bring together the industry to support worthy causes, and Affiliate Summit East 2009 will continue this mission as we raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City through a variety of efforts leading up to the conference.
What is Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City?
Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City (BBBS of NYC) is a well-established, recognized and respected 105-year-old youth mentoring organization. Itβs mission is to provide mentors to all children who need caring adult role models–special friends who can help expand their horizons, realize their potential and enrich their futures–changing their lives. They seek to train community organizations in every neighborhood, empowering them to establish their own mentoring programs.
Affiliate Summit East 2009, taking place August 9-11, 2009 at the Hilton New York, will include sponsorships and activities to generate donations from the affiliate marketing community to Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City.
Past charity partnerships with Affiliate Summit include Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Nevada, the LEAGUE, March of Dimes, National Breast Cancer Foundation, the Starlight Starbright Foundation, and the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
There will be a silent auction, conference sponsorships, and other activities where 100 percent of funds raised will go directly to BBBS of NYC. Conference attendees will also be encouraged to make donations on behalf of their companies or themselves.
Affiliate marketers can make donations online at http://www.bigsnyc.org/d-how.php and they will be recognized on the Affiliate Summit site for their generous contributions.
